My name is
Sylvia Ghani. My husband, Faizan, and I founded this company to provide
affordable yet classy decoration and event planning services to our
Desi community. Our design team is very versatile and our company gears
toward weddings for fashion and style conscious South Asians. We
highlight on how a modern South Asian woman can design her dream
wedding with a rich traditional flair.
For as long
as I can remember, I have been fascinated by weddings. I grew up
playing with dolls and designing their fairy tale weddings. Since I was
twelve years old, I have bought bridal magazine and dreamed of being
involved in the planning of weddings. And what better way to fulfill my
dream than to open my own wedding decorations and event co-ordination
business, "Harmony Wedding Designers". I graduated from Catholic
University of America with a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration, majoring in HR Management and minoring in Interior
Designing and Floral Design. From my experience and passion for this
line of work, in addition to my talented crew members, I have learned
the secrets to design a fantastic event on a realistic budget. Also,
growing up in a big family where there are lots of cross-cultural
marriages, I have developed different ethnical essence which I blend in
with my designing to make your event a breath-taking masterpiece.
